The village of Bascianella is a frazione (outlying area) of the communal town of Colledara.  It lies within the province of Teramo within the Abruzzo Region of central Italy.

Some of the more fortunate townspeople in Bascianella drive a Ferrari.

Bascianella is well known in Abruzzo for two things:

A splendid view of the Corno Grande, the highest peak in the Gran Sasso, and…

The home of the charming guesthouse Casetta Lucciola.
